Combination Brick and Stone Patios

A good example is a patio that is created to look like a maze or a labyrinth. Bricks are used to create the initial image. Between the bricks, a concrete matrix is placed. Using similar dimensions of the visible size of the brick, the matrix is filled with a variety of stones. Depending on what color of stones and bricks you decide upon will constitute the style you end up with.
A beautiful combination would be yellow brick flanked by a concrete matrix that has crushed red brick chunks disbursed in it. You can also add additional contrasting glass beads. For example, turquoise or cobalt blue glass beads can be added to the matrix instead of red brick chunks. As you can see, you can be very creative very easily.
